Come to the studio for Girls Night Out! The studio can hold up to ten people to work in clay for classes, parties or clay getaways. It is equipped with several wheels, four kilns, a slab roller, extruder and a large selection of cone 6 fired glazes. All glazes are lead free and food safe. Finished pieces of pottery can be used in the microwave, dishwasher and oven.
Bring a friend and experience clay! Students will design and hand-build clay tiles, ornaments, and bowls or create something unique by using a slab roller and molds in the first session. During the second class, students will complete the clay project by glazing completed pieces. Class schedule: Select a two-hour block one week and another two-hour block the following week. Class times available include mornings, evenings, or weekends. Three students minimum are required for a class to run with ten students maximum. The cost is $50.00 per student. Additional clay may be purchased. Kids, men, date nights and groups are welcome! Ask about birthday parties in the studio.
Students will focus on developing elementary wheel throwing techniques to make several functional forms such as bowls, cylinders and mugs. Glazing and firing techniques will be included. Glazes for functional pottery are food, microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. Class includes 25 pounds of clay. Additional clay may be purchased. Students and instructor will choose a class schedule. Class times available include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

General information and polices: Fees may be paid by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. Registration is considered complete when payment in full has been made. All clay used at Red Mudd Studio will be provided or must be purchased from Red Mudd Studio. Cancellation for class is up to one week after the first class date, a refund will be issued minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds or credits will be given after that time.
