Are You Serious?

Red Mudd Studio held it’s 5th Annual Holiday Studio Sale and it was great! We had record breaking attendance and sales. The 10 featured artists agreed that it was the best so far. I am extremely grateful to all who attended and supported me, plus all the friends and family who volunteered to help over the weekend. Again, many thanks for all that you do for me, I am very grateful to be a potter and artist.

At the Holiday sale I shared with many people about my work being accepted to the Detroit Institute of Arts. Each time I started to cry with excitement over the exhibit. Today I got to see it first hand and no tissues needed. If you get a chance to see the “Fakes, Forgeries and Mysteries” exhibit, you will exit out into another gallery of all Michigan artist works. The pictures above of the pit fired vases and texturized wall hangings are representative of the display which ends April 10, 2011.
